Carlos Montamarta
Carlos Montamarta is a Naval Architect, Marine and Ocean Engineer with more than 20 years of professional experience in the maritime sector, combining marine surveying, naval engineering, vessel inspections, cargo surveys and independent technical consultancy.
His experience covers commercial vessels, yachts, superyachts and marine cargoes, including condition surveys, cargo condition and damage inspections, loading and discharge supervision, pre-purchase inspections, damage investigations, technical assessments, repair and refit projects, marine casualty support and engineering matters related to international maritime regulations.
He has extensive working knowledge of IMO requirements including SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Line, Tonnage, AFS, LSA and FSS Codes, together with professional experience involving classification requirements and organisations such as Bureau Veritas and RINA.
Technical reports can be prepared in English or Spanish, with formal engineering reports registered when required through the Official Association of Naval and Ocean Engineers of Spain (COIN).
